Delete your Instagram data

How to ask

• Send an email to contact@opproved.com with the subject “Delete my Instagram data”.
• Write your Instagram username (for example @yourname). Please write from an address you can use to receive our reply. We will never ask for your Instagram password.
• We delete the data and confirm by email, within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What we delete

• your Instagram-scoped user ID and username as stored by our automation;
• the text of your comments and the reels they were on;
• the records of messages we sent you and any button taps;
• stored technical copies of the notifications Instagram sent us about your comments.

What stays

Your comments and our public replies are still visible on Instagram itself. We cannot remove them from there; you can delete your own comment in the Instagram app.

Messages in your Instagram inbox are also stored by Instagram, and Meta's own privacy policy applies to those.

Automatic deletion

Even without a request, this data is deleted automatically after 90 days.
